It is with great pleasure that Baltic Control® Certification can add another standard to the portfolio of food-related standards that we are approved to certify according to.
The latest addition to the range of recognized standards is the Global Red Meat Standard (GRMS) which is aimed at slaughter houses, factories and other companies that slaughter, cut, bone, process and/or handle meat and meat products from a large number of four-legged livestock animals such as cattle, pigs, lambs, sheep, etc.
GRMS aims to create transparency in animal welfare, quality, food safety and hygiene and the transparency is provided through an independent certification process based on ISO/IEC 17065. Unlike the quality schemes of other more generic food industries, GRMS is tailored to the specific requirements of the meat industry.
As a GRMS approved certification body, Baltic Control® Certification is ready to certify in accordance with the GRMS standard and we are ready to answer your questions and prepare an offer that suits your company. Please do not hesitate to contact our Head of Feed, Food and Sustainability Natalia Konzina by tel. +45 39 39 01 35 or by e-mail nak@balticcontrol.com.
